1GB RAM Is a bit weird to be honest, then again, I rarely run out of memory in my N9 these days.
1 GB RAM is a big mistake from Jolla, I'm afraid.
Multitaskin both Qt- and Android-apps with 1 GB will be painful.
Working Android-app-support is an important thing for Jolla to make through. Now with 1 GB it won't be a pleasant experience.
I hope it is not too late for them to fix their mistake in specs.

To be fair, we don't yet know enough about how the ACL's implemented alongside native apps/UX/OS to make that call.
I do also share the same concerns though, 1GB is very risky & could end-up being a total cock-up...
And how exactly do you know it'll give your Android ph countless real world advantages compared to 1G on Sailfish?

Dude, I never said it will. Nor did I say it worse or better than anything else. I didn't compare it with anything or anyone. It was a tease and It's pretty cool to have 3GB in you pocket. It more than some old laptops that still working great? the calculation powers is amazing in the top notch android phones, the user experience is another thing. Still pretty powerful, jalyst. You can't ignore that fact, or can you?
I haven't found my N9 to be lacking in performance, esp compared to newer Android phones - cores and RAM don't mean much when the OS is so bloated and apps can't use the cores or RAM. While the 1GB RAM is a bit of a let-down, for me the 16GB storage is a killer - I have 20GB of music on my 64GB N9, then all of the other crap......
Yeah 16gb is kinda lame, especially if the mSD slot is not the latest/greatest mSD format.
I don't think we know the specifics on that yet, but I won't hold my breathe, then again for the price we can't complain too much.

I care more about a decent camera with good ISO in lowlight than spechypes like 720p HD blablabla.. the bigger screenres the more battery drain...
