MeeCell — cellular network monitor for Harmattan

Latest version: 0.4 (24 Nov 2013)
Requirements:
Nokia N9 with MeeGo Harmattan 1.3 (not tested with PR 1.2), presence of MyDocs directory
Size: 41.38 KB
Download page: https://openrepos.net/content/chemist/meecell (free of charge)

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The software is supplied “as is” and all use is at your own risk.

Screenshot:

* UPD / 29 Sep 2013
— signal strength value no longer shown as "-1" when network isn't available; "n/a" is shown instead

* UPD / 13 Oct 2013
— dBm values are shown directly from system API (I've managed to find a workaround for this); these are exact dBm values with range of -1...-123.

* UPD / 27 Oct 2013
— Added signal level graph
— Update period can be set by clicking corresponding button (1 s, 3 s or 10 s)
— Screensaver is controlled by a switch
— The settings are stored in the file system
— Cell ID changes are written to ~/MyDocs/MeeCell directory
— In WCDMA mode UTRA channel number is displayed
— Available data transfer mode (2G - GPRS, 2.5G - EDGE, 3G - UMTS, 3.5G - HSPA) is shown in brackets after the name of the network mode

* UPD / 24 Nov 2013
— Added graph for the current received signal strength level in percentages
— It is possible now to control the logging granularity
— Cell ID history (last 6 changes) is shown on the screen
— Fixed the issue "operator name is too long"
— Improved signal level graph (it doesn't stop refreshing while running in background)
— Improved the stylesheet

Thank you. I remember the application for symbian, as example for n82, which can cange the network base stations, or something else with network. You can check it, and make you app better, if you want.

I don't know what is the exact usage of this software. If it is just to display all network parameters, what about populating PLMN id (MCC+MNC of the currently camped on cell) and RAC? Just a suggestion...
