    Hi,
Thank you for making such a wonderfull app!

I just want to ask if you have noticed a problem on N9 with gain when being set higher then 8.0, it simply stops increasing at that point (except in some cases depending on the whitebalance value, but even than only viewfinder image gets brighter, the picture being saved stays at ISO800)? I suppose that thay locked it at 8.0 but whitebalance sometimes get's it ulocked, so that why all the mass apears.

Is there a solution to this problem?
Does ISO values higher that 800 work on N950?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, qwazix!

I've recently found some kind of reincarnation of overlay bug.

After taking some photos (with rawcam) in the dimly lit room, I've switched to gallery view to check them. There I saw strange oddly coloured dots on the edges between light and dark areas. At first I thought that it is something wrong with my screen, but dots moved when I zoomed out of photo. I checked other photos, made with default camera app, and even some random pictures from the web - they all had these out-of-place coloured pixels in the areas close to black colour. Even icons on the homescreen had those dots on the edges.

Only phone restart helped to get rid of this bug. Closing/opening rawcam doesn't help.

You can try to recreate this bug by pointing you rawcam at something bright coloured and then closing it immediately, without changing the focus. Then open done dark photos/pictures or look at your homescreen - you will see those strange dots.

Thanks for spotting. For now rawcam is suspended as I'm working on other things. If anybody feels like forking and checking it out I'll be happy to help.

I still have interest in this project and I'm not saying it's dead however I really don't have time now to work on it.

the repo pub meego.com is down. No way to get the dependencies of rawcam for n9
Does anyone have backups of this app + dependencies?

If I remember correctly rawcam does not depend on something not already installed on the N9 (PR1.2 + later)

I have the application of course but not right now with me. I will post it as soon as I can. Meanwhile if somebody else has it handy, feel free to post it.

The app is a bit slow, anyway it works quite well expecially for low light the development is suspended atm, take it as it is...

agreed re slowness. To use it you HAVE to wait well after the animation in order to not interrupt the capture. I gave up on pcam after a few missed shots.

    To OP:

Are you possibly considering to enable/port this for sailfish (Jolla)?
