Sorry for the noob question, I have gotten ubiboot up and running and its great i used the cmd tar xvzf kernel -C / and it worked, depmod was not found when i tried, could someone please write a little summery on how to get this working please and thanks

Ok i followed the steps and thanks for the help, after editing the ubiboot.conf using nano i dont get the menu in the ubiboot boot menu, do i need to update the ubiboot boot menu with a command like on the n900 with uboot? Thanks again
