    It's quite simple: You have to:

    chroot /mnt/maemo
    Then you are in the N900 busybox. I just removed the startup script:

    /etc/X11/Xsession.d/30osso_startup_wizard

    I think that, once the device is started, you can just CTRL+SHIFT+x and do a clean

    apt-get remove osso-startup-wizard

    If the touchscreen is the only problem with your N900, it would be a shame not to fix it.
