I have found the distribution process and waiting just fine. Jolla is a tech-start-up, not an established consumer goods company. When making payments available they said the shipping time will be 3-4 weeks, and in fact seems to be shorter.
Heck, that is an order number way behind mine. If they intend to ship all Finnish devices before they really start to properly follow priority numbers for all Europe, then it might be long considering Finland represents one third of the total orders, and that we only got to #138X since Nov. 27.

I'm sure I'll get it before Christmas as they promised so it is not so bad, but frustration is quite high, that is not what I expected with priority numbers being followed based on preorder date. :<

I dont' know how they actually do this but I would expect them to select the orders firstly based on the postal numbers in Finland and then hopefully the preorder priority number. After all Finnish preorders have been sent I would expect them to select the orders by country or group of countries and hopefully the preorder priority number.

The reason is simple: many postal, delivery or logistics companies either require you to presort the batches or they take extra fee for the sorting.

Then there is also the DNA connection. DNA wants to sell Jollas to the general public before Christmas so that means Jolla has to deliver all Finnish preorders as soon as possible so preorderers in Finland will get their Jollas before general DNA sale starts.

Got my tracking number and the phone should arrive on 1-2 days.
I didn't know some of them work on sundays!

It seems they are only serving Finnland customers yet

Quite unfair if even people from 2nd wave get their device before us 1st wavers from Europe....

Especially as delivery to outside Finnland can take upto 3 weeks....

Many large logistic warehouses work every day (except special holidays), some even around the clock.

The phones I received from Nokia all arrived within 24 hours from Helsinki to my doorstep in Germany. Delivery from Finland can be quick, if it needs to be.

I can second that, I've sent stuff to Finland and got things from. First class packages take less than 3 days.

Great to hear that they have started shipping. Given that it rarely takes more than a few days to send something within the EU I guess most people should have their phones by the end of the coming week.

Myself, I'm still waiting for a way to pay. I'll give Jolla Care another go on Monday to see if they can solve the problem with my missing login credentials for the web shop.

Anyone else - from the first, € 100, pre-order in May - who have not yet been able to complete the purchase?
