What should I be paying attention to in 2014?

I'm halfway through my 2 year contract with Verizon. When it is up I plan on moving to T-Mobile and getting a phone off contract. I'm currently using Android, I've gotten it to be tolerable, but certainly not something I love. iOS and Windows Phone are non-starters. Am I likely to have access to anything else by the end of the year in the U.S. that would be better? Do you think Jolla will be able to release a phone that works in N. America by that time? Will Blackberry still be making phones for consumers? Ubuntu, Firefox, or Tizen?

But I doubt he will get Neo900 from T-Mobile contract, though

Get yourself a Z30. Beautiful OS, powerful phone, Android applications.

(Obviously if you have to ask if a Jolla fits you, then no. It doesn't. Otherwise you'll already know that)

Tizen, Ubuntu will probably release one or several devices this year. Sailfish will mature and we will hopefully see jPhone ll. Android will increase RAM to 4 GB, increase resolution further and devices with curved and semiflexible screens will appear. What willbe appear at AT&T a ? at this time.

Z30 is probably what I'd be leaning towards most based on what is currently out there. My boss has a Z10 and I like the OS a lot, although the Android app compatibility still leaves a lot to be desired.

I haven't followed Ubuntu or Tizen very closely yet. Will be interesting to watch MWC and see what shows up. Really hoping for a Jolla phone that I can use on T-Mobile with a keyboard Other Half...but the end of the year might be too optimistic on that front.
