I also made the mistake of not making a personal backup of the map files. I used to have Scandinavia/Nordics, North America, France, Germany and Italy covered, but now all I have is a tarball of of Scandinavian mapdata from the device.

Perhaps I should start bugging one of the ex-Navicore guys again.
