Hi Friends,

I have a nokia N9 and i have been experiencing this problem of "Camera not responding. Please .......". I have tried everything listed here but i can't seem to get it to work.

Am sure my hardware is OK since no one has ever tampered with it. I flashed the device twice now, but still, the primary camery won't work.
My secondary camera works ok with no problems. I even reinstalled the camera from terminal, no changes. Tried using 3rd party softwares to access it but no success either.

Please assist me, will appreciate. Am not sure what I've not done.

Hi, any1 with anything i use to identify the problem? btw, I noticed that the red led light near the camera lights when rebooting. Also, the secondary camera works great.

Kindly, give me an idea or someway of fixing this.

I had this very same problem when I flashed my N9 first time. I solved it by enabling the GPS from Phone settings. I had manually disabled GPS.

Every time I started the camera app, it'd try to enable GPS for geo tagging and would fail, which I guess resulted in the not responding error. Later on, I'd enable GPS, open camera app and then disable geo tagging first. I would then proceed to manually disabling GPS from phone setttings.

Hi, sometimes when I try to open camera app I get the error "Camera not responding", but it looks like it's related to a Cutetube bug which occurs while trying to close the app by swiping down in fullscreen mode.
Performing "killall cutetube" in terminal solves the camera issue for me..
