I'm really hoping the solution for this is simple. We have a server set up, and I can see it, But I've been running into problems saving to it, and creating folders on it. We know we have permissions on it right. We made a 20gigFAT32 partition so Linux could read it. So what am I doing wrong?

It's not your fault...
see http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=16120

there are a lot of problems with the samba/windows sharing.

I use now sftp as workaround.

The Nokia N800/810 can also act as a NFS client (assuming your server has NFS server running).

I hope this helps,

Craig...

Thanks. I read that thread, and after discussing it, we decided to re-enable the guest account on the server until that little error is fixed. Now it's running nice and clear. Though, there seems to be some issues with me saving to the server from certain applications. I think it's probably a problem with the applications and not the OS as others are able to save quickly and easily.
