Well, widgets run inside hildon-home, I think.

    have this issue sometimes too.
just after unlocking the phone (mostly when open up the keyboard)...
don't know why it's only happening in 1 out of about 20 times doing that...

Mine does that too, usually when the phone has been running for more than two or three days. A re-start seems to cure it.

This unresponsiveness that happens every to to three days has become my cue to do a re-boot.

a temp fix is to type this in terminal untill nokia patch the next firmware

    sudo gainroot
    killall hildon-desktop
    killall hildon-home

    or

    turn off all your widgets

Just faced this problem for the first time.

    Easy solution:

    Edit
    Code:
    /home/user/.config/hildon-desktop/home.plugins
Comment every line. I guess my problem was just with
    Code:
    [homeosso_rss_feed_reader.desktop-0]
    X-Desktop-File=/usr/share/applications/hildon-home/homeosso_rss_feed_reader.desktop
    Restart.

You'll still have your desktop config, but the widgets you have disabled.

Back and working with my great N900!

    More on this:

The problem was with the rss cache at

    Code:
    /home/user/.osso_rss_feed_reader/cache
The osso_rss_feed_reader got 100% CPU while trying to read the cache. So, removing that cache solves the "100% forever CPU" problem and you do not loose any of your feed preferences, just the cached data.

    Code:
    rm -r /home/user/.osso_rss_feed_reader/cache/*
    Cheers.
