I am seeing high capacity 3030 mAh batteries for the Nokia N810 advertised on eBay:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/High-Capacit...item2eca0992c5

Does anyone here have experience with these batteries?

If you wish to continue having a functioning n810 I would heartily suggest sticking to the normal spec'd battery.
There are alot of knockoffs that can/will harm your tablet.
Heck there are alot of fakes that will damage your tablet ...if not explode or catch fire.
Best suggestion is unless extensive (meter and other) testing by community member(s) was done on said battery I would be very very wary.

I've seen batteries of that design before, and they never match up to anywhere near the rated capacity, even assuming they're safe for the device. Don't bother.

I suggest not to buy these fake chinese batteries... I had bought one of these gold batteries for my n900 (advertised capacity 2500 mah) and it doesn't last for more than a day (real capacity 1220 mah -_- )... These are cheap, but dangerous for the devices. Buy an original nokia battery and you will not experience any kind of issue

Just received one today. Ordered from dx.com. Yet again the order took more than 3 months to arrive. :P
Let's see how it works. I'll report back in a couple of days.

Though it is not an easy feat to find original bp4l and bp5l batts ...esp ones with a decent charge...there are a few ...mind... "a few" that do the trick....there are a couple of canadian suppliers of alt bp4l batts and one from germany for bp5l that are consistently great.

I've had my own "unique" experiences with many of the asian alts and am not interested in the variable results.
1 test with one received battery from a supplier...known or dubious is not indicative of consistency.
I wouldn't bet my time ....money...nor my 3 n810 or 3 n800 devices that are quite happy with the 5 back up batteries (a piece) AND my Solio (one of the few solar chargers and batteries that work beautifully with NIT's ...unused on ebay for $20 ...one of my best investments EVER ). Usb charge it for a trip...(charge lasts a yr. great for emergency kit) ...fully charged it'll bring a dead nokia back up full...better...hook it up during the day and run off it...by days end...it is then not running off solar but running off the stored charge...then when that runs out you still have the NIT battery to run off of....longgg run-time

Wish you luck though...We'll be able to pinpoint your location via the light show from the engulfing flames silhouetted on the horizon XD
