Slightly offtopic but I received today a message from 'Server', maybe it has to do something with changes on Whatsapp serverside? It told something about the new version with possibilities to use voicechat? After this I couldnt receive and send messages. But it was with Whatsup, after reinstall it worked fine by me..

everytime i get a msg, i need disconnect and reconnect to receive it, but the status is logged in.

Ok I just had the problem again, just switching servers did not work. Then I disconnected Mitakuuluu, changed servers again, reconnected. At first I thought it didn't work (again slow sending / receiving behaviour) but just now suddenly it works fine again.

I have seen this behaviour first with the new version, but it could also be something with the Jolla update or Whatsapp servers acting up.

Next time this happens I can do a little video, so we all know if we are talking about the same thing.

Also: Apparently profile info is not updated. After checking with PC, one of my contacts has a new profile picture and status, but Mitakuuluu still shows the old ones. (But this might be a known bug, though I didn't see it on the bugtracker)

EDIT:
Ok so now it just happened again and then disappeared again, without me doing anything. I will check if it might be my home internet connection acting up.

@Watchmaker on uninstalling all data removing. Its okay.

And post bugs to bugtracker with step-by-step guide to reproduce problem, and then send logfile to my email.

Ok, thanks. I think you should put a big warning somewhere though, I would have taken a backup if I knew that in advance. Luckily I didn't lose anything important (apart from the whole functionality of the app, of course ) but I could have.

I already sent logs to you yesterday, I can send more if you want. Now I'm also going to create issues on github, but I have no particular steps to share for incorrect behaviour reproduction, just a list of problems:

- Try to sync phonebook, nothing happens; also, if you try to sync a single contact, looking at the log it seems that it tries to sync the whole phonebook no matter what
- Try to view the list of participants to a group, it gets stuck at "fetching"
- Change server in settings, close the app then repoen it: server falls back to c.whatsapp.net or whatever it is (option #1)
- Messages sent are not received by any contact
- You have to quit and restart the app to receive messages

I can receive them only after I exit and then restart the app.
