Those are my three main hobbies as of 2008.
So, don't you sort of end up mixing up all those words from different languages after a while? Just wondering. I know Europeans tend to learn more languages than most folks around the world, maybe because of the mix of languages already in use there. So are you European? I do think it would be fun to learn another language. I studied Spanish in Junior High School, so I still hablo un pocito espanol, si? Also, I'm interested in your gun hobby. Do you like the guns for shooting or are you more of a gun collector? How is it expensive? The bullets, the guns themselves, both I suppose.

Just a tip, if you are considering learning Romantic languages, invest some time learning latin, you don't have to take it more than a semester, half a year is sufficient for the building blocks to kick in, if I were you, I would learn it in this order latin, italian, spanish, portuguese, french (why in this order? italian will be closest to latin, once you have that language down, spanish and portuguese will easily follow, the majority of all words have the same root, which is latin based) on the other hand, if english is your first language, german will be the closest to english words but definately very different in sentence structure. Have fun!

My husband and I Geocache for fun. Living up here in the beautiful Pac NW there is an endless supply of caches to seek. Geocaching is like treasure hunting for Geeks Other Geocachers do the hiding and provide clues and GPS coordinates then we traipse around in the woods looking for tupperware containers filled with Happy Meal toys. We've even hidden a few caches ourselves. I don't use the GPS on my N810 however, my Nokia is tooo precious to risk dropping in the mud and muck - we've got a water resistant Garmin that we use for hunting.

There are Geocachers all over the world - if anybody would like more information or to join in on the fun... http://www.geocaching.com/Default.aspx

I love the yo-yo hobby. You have to like the low price of it too, right? So, how did that become something you started to like so much? I'd love to hear why you like it too.

No, that does not happen usually. The human brain is a wonderful thing.

(Languages are not really a hobby to me. I am French and live in Germany, so I speak French and German. I also have notions of Spanish and Dutch.)

The great skies are in Winter. It does not get dark enough in Summer.

The above should make clear that I also practice astronomy as a hobby. I also practice beekeeping and filming/recording jazz concerts.

I'm pretty much an automotive enthusiast with a passion for track racing. This was a pretty sucky hobby back in Singapore where speed limits are strictly enforced at 80/90 on highways and falls to 60 on normal roads (kmph, not mph). Track days were 300km away (a 3 hour drive) in Kuala Lumpur's Sepang International F1 Circuit

Now that I've moved to Dubai where cars and petrol are much cheaper (USD90k for my Evo9 back in SG, petrol at USD1.30 a litre, vs USD30k for my Evo8 MR RS here in Dubai, petrol at USD0.40 per litre), and with the Dubai Autodrome 10 minutes away from my apartment, I've active in the local track community, and provide grassroots level advice and support to other owners of the Lancer Evolution.

Most of my free time is spent online reading up on motorsports related stuff and on this forum where I get to rant on people who buy a N800 based on assumptions and zero facts :P

Oh, and I also spend a goodly amount of time on my Xbox 360, playing Forza 2, Assassin's Creed, Star Wars (Lego) and Gears of War

okay, sit back, its a long one

Back in second grade, a company called Super-Yo visited my school performing a demonstration of yo-yos. After that, they sold us some alright starting ones. After that, i kina forgot about it. Then, in fourth grade, they came back. They repeated the demonstration and sale of the yo-yos. After that, the hobby just kindof stuck on me. I slowed down during 5th grade, but near the end of 6th grade is where i picked up steam. i was over @ a friends house when i saw a commercial for a YoYoFactory F.A.S.T 201. I almost immediatly went to Toy's R Us and boughht one. I found a coool site on the internet called kwos.ca, which is where i learned a lot of my basic tricks from. In seventh grade, i met my friend john kruse, who also yo-yoed. This kept me going for a while. Then, on the fateful day, i was bored and looking for something to do, so i typed in yoyo forum on to google and found a site called TheYo.com. I continued to learn from there, as well as make some new friends. I ordered my first up to date yo-yo from a site called yoyonation.com. their shop is neatly organized and works well. I recommend a YoYoJam Kickside or Lyn Fury if you are looking to get into yo-yoing, as well as posting on TheYo's forum.

As for yo-yoing being in expensive, i guess it is more or less. the average amount i spend on a yoyo order is 30 dollars.. Its sure a hell of a lot cheapper than gadget whoring

For date reference, i'm in 9th grade right now

Oh, and please excuse typos, as this was postd on my N800
