Much as I sympathise with the sentiment, but what makes you think that Microsoft would pay any attention? They do not even listen to their own fans, just look what they've done with Windows 8.
Having said that, I would have joined the movement, but not at the cost of having to create a FB account.
Does Nokia have a global Facebook page? I don't know if it would honestly make much difference, but you may have better luck there. NokiaUS pretends Symbian and Maemo never existed and doesn't acknowledge its Asha/S40/X platforms are a thing, either. Their complete focus is on Lumia and WP8.

I'm not big Microsoft fan, but you have to give them a little bit of credit. Windows 8.1 is bringing back quite a bit of functionality from Windows 7. They've listened to some of the feedback from their users.

I doubt it'll do any good either but it is public so I thought a bit of public humiliation at least. I couldn't find a global FB page so thought the US one would get the most views.
