SMB (assuming all libraries are there) may also be useful in some cases. I don't actually need it, but might be handy to have it included. |

On the N900, pressing the n key does not display the character n. Other keys seem to all work.
Shift n and ctrl n work fine, too. Also, running mc as root, the n key works fine. EDIT: I had not observed this with previous versions. EDIT: pressing the right arrow key after n displays "nOC" in the command line in MC.

It works fine for me, both as user and root and soft and hard-ware keyboard.

Progress: issue fixed but not fully investigated yet.
My root and user users had different ini files. Swapping them resulted in root's midnight commander having the "n" key problem, and user's being problem-free. Now I want to find what exactly in the ini files is causing the problem. It didn't help that the ini files are no longer in ~/.mc but in ~/.config/mc, so I was looking at the wrong files before (the old files, I guess, were left there by previous versions of mc).

broken dependency, doesn't install from maemo-extras
http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...0.6-4osso1+r1/ missing, needs promotion to maemo-extras to fix the issue, or dependency in mc needs to get removed.

Thanks.

However, this libslang2 package did cause some problems in the past because it exists in the SDK repository as well: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...44#post1370844 |

Has anybody tried to Command->Compare Files? It pops up an error window, saying two files are needed to compare. I do select two files (using Crtl t) before trying to compare.
