Because the new version is not available to N900 (hopefully yet), I can't test these, but the old version used server_settings.ini and map_settings.ini for those urls, so I think if you open old server_settings.ini in text editor, you can find some urls to test. Working inis for older version can be found in this thread, mine are posted here.

Does someone have working settings in map_settings.ini to use Kapsi's WMS server to provide maps for Finland? I tried adding http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/peruskartta from the UI as a WMS server, but I don't have a clear understanding which setings need to be provided in map_settings to get the maps to appear in the Base map selection and finally display as the base map.

After adding the WMS server through the UI I got the following settings to server_settings.ini:
server_settings.ini

Kossuth also seems to have a numer of interesting map settings which I would like to see ported to this new settings format.

I'm having problems loading landmarks on n9.

When i press "import landmarks" all controls disappear, but map stays reactive.

Tried loading them on desktop version but it wont even let me create category.

Did anyone succeed in loading pois?


Is there any other app which i could use for pois strictly on n9?

I have no experience with WMS so I'm not sure if my settings make much sense. I did get the basic map functionality working using Kapsi's WMS server with the attached map_settings.ini, though.

Nyt tuo kansalaisen.karttatiili.fi palvelu on päätetty sivusto kertoo "karttatiili.fi is gone as of 2014-08-15" olisiko "uusia" toimivia ini tiedostoja jollain tarjolla

Itselläni ollut ajossa Mapsi 4.5.0 for Windows versio, onko uudempaa tarjolla tai tuloillaan. Käytössä Win7 Professional versio.

I would have a question regarding Liikenneviraston meriliikenne data. I would need a TMS or zxy url for the meriliikenne data. But i am only able to find a wms url.

kartat.kapsi.fi and Mapsi 5.0.0 N9 workaround:
1. Tried to add tms server http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/peruskartta/ but either mapsi has y cordinate bug ( https://alastaira.wordpress.com/2011...e-coordinates/ ) or kapsis tms server y's are messed... tiles are laid from top to bottom instead of tms correct bottom to up or that way it looks like after scrolling the map enough to get something on screen.
2. Kapsis wms server is working but has only lower resolution maps than tms and mapsi seem to load some tiles in different zoom level than others (may be kapsis fault also) and no useful ortokuva aerial photos here...
3. Finally I added slippy map server http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/peruskartta/ and http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/ortokuva/ and great resolution on both maps and aerial photos. Slower than tms server but works for me
ps. (tms and slippy added from basemap dialog add button, no extra map or server settings editing needed)

In finnish:
1 ja 2 ei toimi tms serveriltä ja wms:stä tuntuu puuttuvan tarkimmat kartat ja ilmakuvat vain yhdellä huonolla tarkkuudella
3. Lisäämällä basemap dialogista add napilla kartta serverin slippy tyypisenä http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/peruskartta/ ja nuo ilmakuvat .../ortokuva/ lähti homma pelittämään, vähän hitaasti nuo kartta tilet latautuu, tms serveriltä näyttäisi tulevan nopeammin mutta se ei nyt toimi kun y koordinaatti näyttäisi olevan joko serverillä tai mapsissa väärinpäin tms kartoilla.
...vieläkun löytäisi jostakin serverin josta sais poimittua mapsiin kelkkareitit, kiinteistörajat yms lisäinfot
