Not necessarily. 1.9.1 has a new feature of checking updates in-app! Go to settings, and you will see a new "Update" button, you can either check for updates on-demand or set it to check for updates automatically on start-up.

I really appreciate the work the developer has done on this! Great job... Thanks a lot.

1.9.1 appeared on problems. No application opens when tapas on video news channel. Instead, open mobile version of YouTube through the browser. There is a solution to this problem?

Please check which formats you have enabled in the 'Download quality' settings. The format list was changed in the recent updates (144p and 240p were added due to requests), so you may need to re-enable some formats. 144p is now the fallback used if none of the enabled formats are available for the video. So, if you enable only 720p, and 720p is not available, you will get 144p. Generally, if you enable 720p, then it makes sense to enable all the others below it. The 'Normal' format (usually 640x360) is available for all videos. If you enable that, you should never get 144p.

I don't have a device yet to test with, and there is still quite a bit of work to do before it's finished. Testing in the emulator is painful using my relatively ancient hardware. I don't know if I will ever get a Jolla device. To be honest, I'm fairly disappointed in Sailfish (Android style power management) and the Silica UX (too simplistic and restrictive compared to Swipe UX, let alone Hildon in Fremantle), so I don't really want to spend £330 on a device. Maybe I will get a cheap Android device like the Nexus 7, and use that for testing. That level of investment (I recently saw one for about £50) would be easier to justify.
