Hi,

as I have already spent months playing with NIT
I would prefer to pay for service provided by developers of maemo applications and download images of OS + set of preinstalled, fully configured and tested ok applications.

It would be nice to name some experienced guys as NIK gurus,
providing paid service for users of NIT - buy&cry gizmo.

Ok.
I can spend another months looking for drivers, libraries, dependencies, configuring new applications but frankly speaking I would prefer to pay for such service provided by NIT gurus.

Is it possible to reflash NIT with image of OS + set of preinstalled, tested and correctly working applications
or to have one image of OS + applications saved to memory card
and double boot selector enabled ?

Darius

Perhaps a zip file of the debs with script that installs them all for you. That way you do the flash, run the script, and you're done.

What apps do you want and is having problems? I do NOT know Linux and is absolutely NOT a guru, but I have installed quite some apps 770, N800 and N810 and would like to share my experience with you if you want to try. And one in fact learns and having fun during the process. Would this help?

Evidently, for whatever reason, he doesn't want to use the built-in tools designed to make his life easy, but instead insists on making things as difficult as possible, but he also wants somebody else to make his self-imposed suffering easier by doing his work for him.

Yeah . . . something like that, anyway.
