    Hi guys

I have currently facing a problem too much often since I must use "FreeWifi" hotspot. It's hotspot you can use anywhere in France for free id you have login/password.

The thing is that it happens a lot that I cannot connect this network any more without having a DHCP error (see joined screenshot).
It does not come from the AP because when I restart my phone it works again.

My question is, do you know how I can restart N9 WiFi from scratch because it's truelly a pain to restart the phone for this.

    Thanks for anyhelp
    Cheers!

    What about:
    Code:
    devel-su
    /sbin/stop xsession/icd2
    /sbin/start xsession/icd2

I will try it ext time it happens to me.

FYI, I already tried this and had no effect :
    devel-su
    /sbin/initctl restart xsession/icd2

Isn't it meant to do the same ?

    Yep.
    stop/start is same as restart.

Next try would be the same command sequence, just exchange 'xsession/icd2' with 'xsession/wlancond'.
And if that does not help, then:
    Code:
    devel-su
    /sbin/ifconfig/ wlan0 down
    /sbin/ifcomfig wlan0 up
