for instance - just tried to start again and tried to command...
umount /media/mmc2
and it returns: cannot umount... invalid arguement
bummer.
wonder what the problem is?
Do you have virtual mem engaged? uncheck virtual mem from control panel.
Are u root?
N800 internal mmc2, (behind battery cover) or N810 external mmc1 (behind kick stand).
Sometimes the mmc2 or mmc1, in fact is NOT mounted, then the umount command will return an error message. Just ignore the umount step, proceed with sfdisk. If failed, then reboot, and try umount again.
following those instructions at pronukes with no success wore me out...
anybody that has been done this install want to lend a hand I would appreciate it - send me an email at carlatho@pacbell.net and I can give you my phone number to discuss. Perhaps discuss Saturday morning.
