profile picture should be rectangle and less than 18KB size (but i'm not sure if it working at all in whatsup and i can't check it, i can only suggest some details from whatsapp protocol)
on whatsup i used to change profile pic even though it's size is huge and whatever its shape is
now it isnt at all working and i tried small size still not updating
i tried reinstalling still didnt help ...
Same here: cannot change profile picture anymore in Whatsup since a couple of days. It used to work fine with any kind of picture. Now it doesn't work neither with the picture of my profile nor with pictures of chat groups I have created. I assume it has to do with the recent update of Whatsapp.
