Do you have any future plans regarding this application?. It seems that is more than a good starting point for a whole replacement of the Phone Call application.

Really? I don't think so. There is already similar app http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=71002 but I don't see any replacement call applications around since 2011.
Only plan I have is to figure out have to disable volume keys swapping in portrait/landscape mode as is very annoying during calls.

Elros, my wife has asked about a mode to auto send an away/busy sms when the phone was in a 'meeting' mode. While this is cool I also think an away sms somehow smartly integrated into qslideanswer would be really cool when you want to not take a call. Not sure how this would integrate into the current simple clean qslideanswer design, I wouldn't want it to send on every rejected call(or maybe it would be a neat option for that?) but thinking out loud.
My first design thought is when you slide reject you get another slider offering to send an 'away' SMS or not.
