    Sure, why not.

    Check sources of BNF scripts (the part responsible for using with bq27x00_battery, not the raw i2c access one) for exact location of sysfs entries with that data.

    Actually, thinking about it, I would prefer this over the "out of hat" standby time (haven't thought about it earlier, as I use BNF for detailed info, anyway). If you ever code it yourself, be sure to send patches to CSSU. If,in the meantime, you would be able to fix that damn glitch with using design capacity to determine which icon graphic to show, it would be great, too

    Sure, it will be done when it will be done, without any doubts

    Seriously though, are you waiting for some particularly important hotfix?

    Not for a particularly important hotfix but maybe for some new features

    Using IMAP access to gmail, I have one mail, that trying to *reply* to, freezes modest with 100% reproducibility. To be precise, it freezes *whole* system - no input works - and either result in watchdog kicking in after some time, or device "wakes up" after a 10 minutes or so, asking for lock code, with modest crashed (and yellow-bar message about modest being terminated). To prevent that, one might connect via ssh from other machine and kill modest earlier.

    I suspect that it might have something to do with sender using html formatting, but it's a shot in the wild. I'm not very keen on publishing this e-mail to the general public on forum, but I have no problem with sending appropriate files (if possible) to developer. Who should I send it, and what exactly to send?

    /Estel

    // Edit

    syslog doesn't show anything related to modest around the time of freeze/crash.

    @Estel
    but you do have latest tinymail libs from cssu-devel, or?
    As they fixed some (other) odd behaviour with gmail.

    A lovely christmas gift indeed. Quite a lot of items in the changelog as well.

    Unfortunately, for me, updating via HAM is not possible due to dependancy problems (as usual, just the generic "conflict with <package>" without any extra info) with libc6-dev (2.5.1-1eglibc27+0m5+cssu1) -- any else experiencing this? Suggestions? Haven't tried apt-get or such, but I guess that would have the same issue.

    EDIT: Apparently HAM is not really reliable -- using (in terminal, as root/sudo) apt-get update followed by apt-get dist-upgrade installed it properly. NOTE: apt-get upgrade should probably be used instead of dist-upgrade. See http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=1724 for details.

    It would, but at least it would tell you the details.
