Bash on the N9 is vulnerable to the Shellshock vulnerability. As there are unlikely to be any official software updates to mitigate this, is there any way to install the patched version of Bash to fix this issue?

I wonder if its possible to simply install updated bash from Debian arm repos and edit /var/lib/dpkg/status to allow the upgrade without affecting dependencies (if any)...
