The porting of tuxpaint to the IT platform should corrected to do the following:

1. Bring up a text-entry screen for the text command--on the N800 without a keyboard, there is no way to enter text.

2. Provide some sort of filtering for the navigation pad (cursor, select, etc.). At present, if you press any of the buttons during program operation it perform an immediate shutdown of the program without even a prompt. Nothing like having a program bail on you before you have a chance to save your work.

For 1., there is a way to enter text: xkbd. I'm not saying it isn't a problem, but info for all who stumble here...
