Hi there. I left facebook recently, so now i use google hangouts to have conversations with everyone on my both n900 and n9. I know we have built in support for google chat in both n900/n9, but the problem im facing is, if im offline on both phone, or i dont have internet connection on both, meanwhile if someone sends me a text, i wont receive it when ill be online again. It can be read only on desktop or android then. Is there any client or workarounds to get unread messages when i get internet connection again?
Yes im talking about texting..and does xmpp works with old message syncing and the unread message retrieval ? sorry, i have never configured xmpp. Dont know how to do. any suggestions to start?

Nope !!! I cant receive unread texts. Can you please check with the pidgin messenger on N900? coz it supports xmpp protocol. On my N900, it crashes or does not connect.
