so....... 4:3 aspect ratio....... yuck
and it won't have native The Pinball Arcade, the ONLY thing that I use otherwise useless tablet form.
4:3 is good for pictures but with many pixels to spare you still get "full HD" where needed right?
Pinball Arcade runs pretty fluent on a Jolla phone, but the sound is delayed by about 0.5 seconds
I use a 50 USD 2nd hand 2012 Amazon Fire HD for Pinball Arcade.
Makes me wonder if Jolla will ever update the Android sub-layer in Sailfish 2.0 and lower.
2nd concern: does the Jolla tablet even have stereo sound out loudspeakers?
My Amazon tablet has some serious speakers for its size.
I don't have fine ears but I am easily disturbed by the Jolla's phone speaker irritable noise and that was a 350 Euro device vs a 199 USD device.
Just bought it..with some doubts: maybe I am sending the wrong signal (tablet, cheap hardware) and I do admit I have no use for it and that I am worried about its capability for Arcade Pinball.
Its just that Sailfish is so beautiful to look at. It replaces my aquarium.
And I am curious if it will be tweak-able into a better laptop backup replacment than Android can ever be.

well, not for me. 4:3 feels so wrong in every way, too short in portrait and too narrow in landscape. Sure, high(er) resulution helps with content fitting but I still have a feeling that I'm holding it wrong.

Cheap hardware is not the wrong signal. As long as it is cheap and capable, and Software makes up for the difference.
This tablet will work for me beautifully.
I was looking for an upgrade for my Nexus 7, and this will do,
I would have preferred a 16:10 screen, it is better for books, comics and a good compromise for videos, IMHO, but 4:3 will do.
