Wow, thanks, very flattering!

Unfortunately, I have to kindly decline as I will be away and (hopefully) offline for 3 months during spring/summer 2015, i.e. the upcoming term.
But I'll happily keep on hanging out here and hopefully get back to patching Maemo as well.

Thank you reinob. I feel very flattered that you would consider that I might be a suitable candidate. I'm certainly not offended by the nomination (I'm not sure why anyone would be).

I will give it some thought over the next couple of days before I decide whether to accept the nomination. Like others, it's a question of available time. I wouldn't want to run for council if I am unable to put in the commitment that the position deserves.
