is there any way to use maps and drive without having a nokia account? i have used drive for a while before wiping my phone (it was used and the old owner left his account in) and really liked it. i tried registering a nokia account, but it required way too many informations (why would they need my address?) and it's going to be suppressed by microsoft in 04/2015 anyway. i also don't feel like giving my personal info to microsoft/nokia
But what will happen if I flash my N9 after everything is closed down.
Will we still be able to login to our Nokia accounts? If no, how do access maps then?
it seems like they have already shut it down http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/supp...iscontinuation
at least, i'm not able to register (on my nokia n9 i get "Unknown error. Try again later. :522"), can anyone confirm this?

nevermind, i used invalid characters in the password (. ' =) and they aren't allowed. nokia accounts work fine (for now ;__; )
I can confirm this. I've trying to make an account for the last week at least, and I just can't. The message is always that the service isn't available...
