I used to use Pidgin. All the time. But all of that has changed. I've uninstalled Pidgin now that I'm using the new rtcom-beta-os2008 update. It bundles all of the Pidgin plugins into the built-in IM client (via Telepathy-Haze). So now I automatically sign in to all of my IM accounts as soon as I go on the network.
A little something of my home screen. Just some random photo I took. And the current test theme I'm making. If anyone is interested to try out the theme, try it out and comment to me (it's not yet ready).

I like the photo and the theme'll be very nice, too.
I'm just waiting for someone to come out with a ghost theme for OS2008: a non-glaring white-ish grey that would allow the background photo to pop out more behind it. Those application icons are solid and colourful - no way they'd fade into a background image so the theme doesn't have to be such a powerful colour block.
I wish there also was an emulator for the desktop landscape so that finding a suitable image would be easier. Maybe in PhotoShop or some such application where a basic N8xx template can be plonked down on top of preferred photos so you can cut'n'crop to get the desired effect?
This is mine at the moment. Please to notice most beautiful statusbar clock provided by the wonderous fiferboy (Andrew).
I'm like you, ChrisKos. I end up changing around the look a lot.
I'm kinda hoping someone out there with a lot of time and energy (hear that fiferboy?!?!?!) will be able to come up with some kind of screenshot slideshow application.
It'd be neat to tap on the screen and not know, exactly, what screenshot'll come up. Or plug PlayThing into the charge and just use it as one of those electronic picture frames (with the added bonus of internet radio and weather.
Jeeze. Just using it as that makes the cost of the N800 totally worth it.
