Hi sorry i m a news jolla User. Nice to meet you all on boat...i ve a doubt..i have installed whatsapp android on jolla and i have read that i have to leave app in background in Order to let it show me notification.
I dont understand its a problem of the update 11? Or its a way to fix it? IS a bug known in jolla team?

Thank u For Your products, now i want to try mitakulu from a secondary number, i dont care if they Will ban me..why it gives me error even in registering,importing account from android app? And if a choose to receive sms i Cant receive it...

I really Like gestures and the concept behind the os..the only think i miss are whatsapp native ( do you Know when cepiperez Will release the app?) and other social Program. Others Program i can supply with android Version because i dont have to use it all the time..

because it's very old and many features are not working now

So it is a feature, theres a way to contact jolla to ask if in some way they could leave the possibility to disable it?
I think, but i m a ignorant in this matter, if i leave it on back groud in minimized app it Will drain a lot of battery, while if it works on background as in android Smartphone,it Will consume less charge...it is true or non sense?

I dont understand the part referring to mitakuluu. So its a old Version that i hav just installed an old Version or any Version of mitakuluu wont work because the dismission of service? Thanks

Hello, coderus.

I'm trying to get your wonderful notification daemon in use, but notifications are arriving very-very slowly. Typically from 20 minutes till 4 hours. Please, tell me how to debug such situation?

For now I'm trying it with Telegram android application. If the Telegram client is active, notifications arrive almost instantly. If the Telegram client is switched off, I need to wait for a long-long time.

Here is the requested in head post debug info, while I doubt in its usefulness for my case:

so, if you not use android-notifications, Telegram notifications when not active appear instantly?

When I switch off both android-notifications and telegram messenger, I don't get any notifications at all, obviously.

Switched off android-notifications and telegram: no notifications.
Switched on android-notifications and telegram: fast notifications.
Switched on android-notifications and switched off telegram: very slow notifications.

One interesting detail maybe: there was a similar situation with my google email once. I use standard Jolla mail client, and it properly notifies me with new mails in gmail inbox. But there was single time when the mail client delayed notification for about 10-12 hours.

so, it can't show notifications slowly. it shows notifications when notification come from application.
