Going for £38 on dabs.com at the moment, http://www.dabs.com/ProductList.aspx...lectedId=11151

They've also got a wealth of other makes and sizes.

Remind me again, why not the 8GB card?

the reason for the question was more because I'm sure I read somewhere in here that you shouldn't go for more than a 4GB .. is tht still the case, or is an 8GB or even 16GB OK??

So, where can I get a 16GB for cheaper ... and is it any good?

What's the difference between the classes?

8 Gbyte card works just fine on the N800. Class 6 is nominally 50% faster than Class 4, but actual speeds are not as straightforward as the single number implies, and it probably doesn't make much practical difference on the N800 anyway due to other speed constraints.

I got a 16 GB Transcend SD-HC Class 6 at Amazon.com. Works just fine although the total size shows up as 14.94 GB.

    Guys,

I've been using 16gb class 6 for several months and about a month ago I added dual boot from mmc and it works very fast. I stay away from any class 4 sdhc cards because they always gave me problems. Have not had any problems with 8gb and 16gb class 6 cards. I'm hoping the 32gb class 6 cards go down in price so I can buy a pair of them in the future. SP thanks for the tip on the 16gb cards.

    Dan

    Newegg.com does not ship internationally.

Please... no wiggling deals in front of the noses of non-US posters looking for a deal unless you *know* the company will ship internationally.

It just creates intense feelings of jealousy
