Hi guys,

I did an apt-get dist-upgrade last night on my N810 (perhaps not the best thing to do).

Today, when using the app manager, i can -barely- see the names of the already installed packages.

Only the first 3 letters or so of each package are listed, as the -vast- majority of the display is taken up by the 'version number' field.

It seems that the app manager has been coded to give priority to version number, and whatever space is left over, will be given to the app name.

The problem, I believe stems from xserver-xomap, which has a version number of "1:2.4.99.0~GIT30070321-osso20074202" - which takes up so much space that everything else gets squashed.

Is this my own fault for doing a dist-upgrade? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks

Chris

Disable all your repositories and then add them in one by one checking to see which one includes xserver-xomap, and then leave that one disabled until you need it. I noticed the same thing but haven't had the time to do what I suggested.
