    Hello

First at all - sorry for my crappy english. I hope you can understand me and have a solution for my problem.

I have my N900 pairing with a W7 x64 PC (bluetooth M$ stack). If i startet the Nokia Suite, everything works fine. The start of the Nokia suite "triggers" the N900 in the pc suite mode and after that i can access the N900 under "mobile devices" in Windows without the nokia suite.

    My questions and problems are:

    - Can i trigger the N900 in the pc suite mode manually? So i don't need to start the Suite first, to can access the phone in windows as a mobile device.

    - If the N900 in the pc suite mode over bluetooth, i can access the phone and read or transfer files to my pc. Thats works great!

But i can't write to the device! I don't have the rights to do this, why? How can i fix this?

FunFact: I can make/write new folders, but no new files. The point why i want use the n900 in the pc suite mode without the nokia suite is: The Nokia Suite is a big bunch of sh...

If i can connect the phone manually over BT in the pc suite mode and have write access, i can use the "total commander" to sync files ect.

I hope you can help. Thanks in advance

Forget Bluetoooth, it's slow as molasses. Use WinSCP to transfer files wirelessly.

Thats a good solution, thanks .... but i not have a wifi here all the time.

So if i can use both, thats would be the best solution.

    EDIT:
OpenSSH (extras) for the n900 is old as hell. If there a new (security fixes) verison out there? :-/
