I am not difficult customer, patient, after no Nokia N1000x with Maemo 6.0 forever no more this one can wait long time and no special need thin and sexy device.
So for helping solve problem of display not fit in sexy and thin tablet , Jolla can make more thick by 1 Metric cm and add keyboard , user replace battery, fat audio DAC and input / output lines, HDMI and FMx chips.

Also I think Sailfish 2.0 takes lots of work but prepared to betatester.

yep, love crowdfunding too and new products. ubuntu edge was a great campaign execution with an impossible goal and bad end result. jolla is doing a bad campaign but hopfully with happy ending and a great product. why bring up ubuntu?

anyone knows what percentage to use to import jolla tabket to different countries. is it standard import tax jolla call vat?
It's foolish to compare the Ubuntu Edge and Jolla tablet campaigns.

There is no real comparison.

One achieved its pledge target, the other failed, and thus was never able to hit the roadblocks and obstacles that the Jolla campaign has.

All there was of the Edge campaign was the crowd-funding phase, they never actually built anything - not even a working prototype.

I'm more sad that we still can't test SOS 2.0 on the Jolla Phone, even in an unsupported way (the way we got 1.4 and 1.6 early before it went to early testers)

Uh? There is early testing (early adopters), not early early adopters. And presumably you'll get the same opportunity with 2.0? Nobody denied that at least...

There's early early adopters if you know your way around the terminal which is what I was pointing at. And I want to upgrade to 2.0 using that way but that's not possible yet.

OK - so you refer to an unofficial way of upgrading that depends on Jolla making mistakes with their repositories or you guessing new repository names.

I dont think we can excpect another official leak from jolla. But a sneak peak video would be nice addition in the next blog post...It would be a nice way to say sorry for another delay...given its another delay. It could also be a nice way to kick of an interactive release party next weeks. If it was me I think I would have it at toghter.jolla.

maybe create 12 short videos and revealing one every hour and then last one of a the first shipped tablet. have some press kit ready to send out after the twelve hour release party. what I feel missing in this campaign is an information engine...hope some steps up at the end.

especially important if jolla planning to sell anymore tablets at release date...

Would you guys think less of me if I admitted to finding Dave999 quite funny?

Hypothetically, of course...

Funny or not. Here I come. You can't hide...

With recent event and the future epic split of the organization, could this have interfered with the tablet campaign in the past? or in the future with people moving to other areas, feeling less commited to the current work. while, this is unlikely, the questions must be asked.

either way, some QA session should be nice. cybette, make it happen please

any live stream from jolla @Shanghai ?
