As far as I know it does requires connection to a hub system that is controlled by the vendor.

Hi all,

Is the best (only?) method to use telegram on a N900? I want to start using my N900 as a phone - I am currently using it as a portable emacs PC - and only need telegram to make the shift. Is it still supported by devs?

Will try it out anyway - but if someone with hands on experience can share his/her thoughts that would be great.

For openpandora (has the same SOC) there is an almost fully working desktop version developed (only sound has some issues).

Reflashed my N900 - installed CSSU - copied TelegramN900 to /home/user/ but I need to install requiered libraries (libconfig, libreadline, libssl)
Started with libconfig, but it doesn't seem to be available in the repo.

There is a package libconfig8 in extras-devel, try that.
