Last time I ever remember I got thru someone's computer was when I opened his cam, found him opening some dumb sex cam and he was naked wanking it. I had to burn my eyes with boiling water for weeks to get that image out of my head, sent him a 'phuck you' small message and gave my pc a clean wipe and re-install

The public have an ideal of what an artist is and they expect you to live up to that...eccentricities, profound concepts, mind blowing work etc...
If you got into the public's memory...there is half the battle ...the other half is staying there...in their memory...by coming up with new and cutting-edge work that wows people.
The public are a jaded beast that go from course to course at the buffet of art ... keep them looking at what you come up with...then you'll stay in their collective memory ...that is...until you stop trying to wow the public that is...then they'll just as quickly forget you...
