    oh wait, there's more:
    http://toucharcade.com/2015/06/25/ap...federate-flag/

It's looking like Apple has pulled everything from the App Store that features a Confederate flag, regardless of context. The reasoning Apple is sending developers is "...because it includes images of the confederate flag used in offensive and mean-spirited ways."

Cool, US is catching up with Germany, they censored swastikas from Wolfenstein 3D, now expecting new release of North & South without the south

    hahahaha...yeah...
y'know szopin ...scarily you are on to something there.
With the U.S. they tend to extremes...
Soooo I expect that next they'll ban the actual "past" ever having happened...because the thought of it will be offensive...
Kinda like the rewording of "french fries" to "freedom fries" they did when ticked off at the French.
I'm surprised that they didn't pack up the statue of liberty and ship that gift back as well.
To forget the past is to repeat it ...most assuredly...

    On another note...
    I liked the zippable banana.

With apologies to anyone affected by this crisis. It is a serious matter and I should not laugh but I could not help it when a co-worker showed me the screen:

You can't divorce your choices from their sociopolitical context just because it's convenient for getting a bunch of code shipped. If you're choosing to collaborate with somebody despite knowing about their prejudice against the LGBT community, then that's a choice you're consciously making. It's a choice that reveals a personal belief system which prioritises code over people.
    Bonus, the myth of meritocracy:

who wants to bet he runs off to the cayman's with the bailout money...?
    Regardless...greece is a monetary sinkhole.
    It won't stop there...
    They'll always need more.

How much of the populace is/was unionized? (nothing against unions ..I think they are important..)
How much of the populace works ...or rather it should be.."worked" as civil servants before their purge...?
What was the retirement and age for pension again compared to the rest of Europe?
What exactly were their exports this last decade and what monies were they making again?

I know roughly a dozen greek quasi-citizen/immigrants here...
they all worked at the same foundry as a friend of mine...great guys really... but I see what the probs are ...and they are manifold..
Whilst working at $40+ dollar an hour/full-time jobs...these boys were also always bragging about their greek pensions they were simultaneously collecting...
It's no wonder the country is sinking...
Unfortunately ..the P.I.G.S. countries have been busy spending monies they never were pulling in...essentially mortgaging their futures...since the end of the 2nd world war...with little regard as to consequence...and now ...it has all been coming home ...piling up...
It is called fiscal irresponsibility ...
and it is somehow expected to be taken as the responsibility and debt of the fiscally responsible countries...and as well it is expected the rest of the planet must be financially dragged down ...from the markets to the curriencies ...
As a topper ..the greek referendum won a majority to oppose dealing with their fiscal responsibilities...pretty much giving the finger to the E.U. ...

Personally I don't think the Greek government should get one more thin penny...
Let them find their own way back up from the bottom of the ocean of red they are determined to drown themselves in and seem determined to take whoever helps with them...
I think some instructional and educational videos would help...like say this kindergardener-level one ...from-back-in-the-day....
