Or, depending on your needs, an old 'dumb' phone for €/£/$ 9.99. There are still a lot of areas where those old dinosaurs beat any new 'smart' phones hands down.

Civil engineer here, we often use recycled aggregate (gravel sized bits) in concrete nowadays. You'd be surprised how much random stuff makes its way into the mix, because it often comes from demolished buildings.
Anyway, the other day we were wondering what might happen if an old Nokia 3410 made its way in there. The consensus was you'd probably be able to ring the number for a good week of two and spook people... I really must try that sometime!

Around here, ATT is cutting back on 2g support, sometimes deleting entirely to make room on their towers for newer technology. (Unfortunate for me given that they're also not improving 3g dead zones either. My N900 works poorly in the dead zone know as 'my house'.)
