No. I'm kinda scared to reboot it. But I will try that now anyway.

Recovery mode in a shell, tried coderus' commands to no avail

Type the number of the desired action and press [Enter]:
    4

If you continue, this may void your warranty. Are you really SURE? [y/N] y[OK] No lockcode has been set. Proceeding...
    / # unlink /var/cache/pk-zypp-cache
    sh: unlink: not found
    / # mv /var/cache/pk-zypp-cache /var/cache/.pk-zypp-cache
mv: can't rename '/var/cache/pk-zypp-cache': No such file or directory
    / #

And now it doesn't boot anymore... (bootloop) Recovery mode didn't fix that either. Recovery mode has always been useless for me in the past 1,5 years.

You'll have to mount rootfs first and then chroot into it. Then you'll be able to run those commands. Please search Google for those commands, as I can't do that right now, but googling 'recovery mode Jolla chroot' will probably do the trick. Good luck!

But if the phone doesn't boot anymore for the gazillonth time in 1,5 years, I dunno if those commands are gonna fix it...

I do not know that either. Actually, you will never know unless you will try it...

Now it can't even reach recovery mode anymore over telnet. Man, why do I always have these problems with my Jolla I've had this multiple times in the past 1,5 years and I'm about the least experimental guy on here...

So that means I'll have to send it to Jolla, once again. Gonna pass this time. I'm a biiiiig Jolla fan but I've had it with these stupid update problems all the time. I'm gonna stay on TMO for the tablet I'm about to receive, but I'm gonna switch to BB now phone-wise.

Thanks for all the help yesterday and today, guys!
