Within the next days my free account is going to expire, so I have to pay for using whatsapp. How can I make a payment to whatsapp?

I found a simple solution. If you have an android with whatsapp you may use the option "pay for a friend", then you may select the friend and pay the regular price for him. It worked.

im using whatsapp till ~2013, so i'm not a longtimer, but after expiration the service just renewed. i still don't know how is this works.

Wait and see. Got one (1) additional year already 2 times. with n9 WhatsUp. WhatsApp on N9 always works without guarantee.
Better pay later for Telegram, they do not support N9, but do not fight against telegram developers.

Replying to myself *again* :P

I talked to Whatsapp support and to ask if they could unblock me; they replied that I had to update to the latest version first (otherwise I'd risk getting blocked again).

So having whatsup report 2.12.89 rather than the version it currently reports definitely seems to be of some importance.

You do not need to pay whatsapp. you can
1 - Not using Whatsapp/Whatsup durin one Week or more, Whatsapp team wil add you a few week of free usage,

2 - Delete your account 1 week before expiration, And recreat 2 week after delete, you will have a new free account for one year
