I need your help guys, I have n900 for about 5 years but my device cant read SIM card so I have bought next n900 brand new, Im happy with this and Jolla as second phone but device I got, have installed PR 1.2 and of course I want to update it to PR 1.3 and then to CSSU so guys where I can download trustful img of official PR 1.3 ? Official Repo is gone for the looong time and here on the wiki links are still pointing to official closed sites of nokia :C So Please Meaemo Community guide me in my Open Source Linux life Thanks in advance !

you will need a flasher that is meant for your specific pc os ..

Thanks Guys I was looking for this stuff for a while now but couldn't find it (I wonder why ;x ) I have a Linux Flasher for maemo for a long time on my HDD waiting to finally update my second n900 but now when you provided me a link to mirror of official repos Im wondering if i could just update it from meamo/n900/terminal level ?

I will do it step by step as wiki suggest Now Im looking on the repo site what is this custom emmc, so thinking about all the process begins ^^ Im happy to be finally a member of such a proud group I'm lurking here from the start of my n900 journey and now I'm still keeping myself far away from all those full of security risks OS's like pourdroid, I-somethink or M$ bugs. Bought Jolla for some modern mobile "on daily heat" action like fast playing YT without rebooting to some desktop distro on n900 but n900 is aging pretty well and I was more then happy to see that whole maemo community lives far beyond Nokia itself

Polish auction service allegro.pl from some gsm service that sold me one from Polish Orange distribution (battery is damaged from lying down and not being charged for few years, probably, but hey ! it isn't that bad after all ^^ battery is changeable part ), You can find n900 on ebay as well but friend of my got fake one so watch out.

keep your eyes peeled on fleabay...
save search type on fleabay and you'll get daily updates when nxx0's pop up...
smart idea to have a few tucked away ...just in case..

my n8x0's are well nigh indestructible and have no worry whatsoever about their longevity...I have a few of each just in case...
the n900 however has it's own particular quirks ...so I make sure to have multiples in storage waiting...I watch them and hence treat gently..
