...and don't worry if SFOS stills shows 1.1.9.30 in GUI and terminal. You can check you've upgraded to 2.0.0.10 on the events view (you should have the switches and shortcuts on the top, and twitter feeds on the bottom).
I have been using Jolla from the beginning. I recently got a n5 and like to try SFOS with it. Not that familiar with Android flashing and rooting, so I'm asking little help to go through it.

It is not that difficult.
Make sure the Android tools is working and connecting correctly to the Nexus 5.
Then follow the instructions you linked. You may or may not be able to go directly to 2.0.0.10. If you can't go to 1.1.9.28, then 1.1.9.30and then 2.0.0.10.
ssu release <version you want to update to>
Good luck.
Sailfish is pretty much usable on Nexus 5. You do have some issues with Audio, Bluetooth, Camera, etc in addition to having no Android run time.
I unlocked and installed cm11. Everything went fine.
But now I cannot install SFOS on top of it...
I have tried to flash it over cm and beside it with multirom. It always gets stuck on the Google bootloader. WIth multirom cm starts fine.
