Just watched this wild flick on pay-per-view-- man what a rush of over-the-top fun! Highly recommended if you're looking for pure tongue-in-cheek escapism.

LOL... in more ways than one!

I like the rope and machine gun trick. Highly implausible, but cool as hell!

Aw, my kids and I thought it was a riot. What I loved best was how he took advantage of dead guys' weapons. One of my biggest complaints about good guy/bad guy flicks is how often the good guy kills a bad guy with pistol and fails to pick up the bad guy's machine gun. Glad to see another writer "gets it"!

[man shoot em up was one of the best flicks of 07 and your 100% correct on the its good to see movies where the good guy pics up other weapons off the floor i mean seriously if i can do it in call of duty 4 why couldnt a movie do it lol

That's always been one of my biggest peeves. My wife thinks I'm nuts because I'll yell at the screen, "trade UP, you freaking *****!!!"

Hehe. There's so much irritating crap in most action films.

Probably one of the most satisfying movies in this regard, highly recommended: Way of the Gun
