Hi,

now my 770 get broken for the 3. time with the same error.

I got mine in February and after 10 days it was broken,
then I got a new one.
This time it run 4 weeks and broke again, after 5 weeks for the repair at a nokia service center (they switched the display-device) I got it back on friday and saturday it broke for the 3. time.
Does anybody know if Nokia has fix the problem or do they just replace the display and hope or pray that it will last longer?

I'm really becoming angry because I bought the 770 to leave my Powerbook at home when travelling but it's so unreliable that I need to carry 2 device arround !!

I hope anybody could raise me some hopes,

Mark

I feel your pain... I am on my second tablet and its screen just failed this morning. Here is what happend... I pulled it off the charger and it looked fine. However, the wifi would not connect. I figured it needed a reboot so I turned it off and waited for about 30 seconds and turned it back on and the screen failed. It it had the same lines on it as before. I think at this point if I can get another one I may just sell it until they work out the bugs.

Hi,

Nokia has offered me to give me the money back and like that I just ordered a Dell Axim X51v.
It has not a Display like the 770 but I just need a small device for remote admin and I think the dell just "work".

The Nokia makes lot's of fun but I think the quality must get better and the applications grow fast but windows mobile has the advantage that it's older and there are (at the moment) more applications just ready to install.

I will miss my Nokia 770.
