P.S. I realize I spent an arm and a leg more than I would have spent elsewhere, but I would rather pay for the security. I almost ordered one at Buy.com for $70 cheaper, but they couldn't give me a tracking number or tell me who the vendor was or who was shipping it or anything.

Er . . . buy.com gives you a tracking number for all of their shipping options (as far as I'm aware), and they are the vendor and the shipper. . . .
Talk about wasting money. :\

It just matters for people who do not want to spend the N810 price or for people who need 2 full-size SD slots.

However, like you, I like the N800 for the dual SDHC slots, but I'm not sure about the larger USB socket (isn't it the same size as the one on the N810?)
