well, I think this are normal hiccups for a startup. The next thing is that they lost the support from one investor to be accurate. When the financing round will be successful all is fine. And this means a lot of the stuff employees will come back if they can. And the court proceedings wills stop then too I think. So not everything is like you described. And I'm convinced that they will get it. I think compare it all the time to meego, maemo etc. is not a good thing because big companies worked in the background. Like intel and nokia.

Yes of course, that is why I was saying passing the phone to CepiPerez

Today, the dolar rates has been gone almost twice (!) in Argentina because of their new government....

So mailing from outside is at least not an option. The only good option would be to pass it out to someone who will go to Argentina

If anyone knows someone going to Argentina from USA and willing to take it with him/her and CepiPerez is willing to accept it and continue development, I will donate my Jolla for him.

SailfishOS is based on Mer, which started as a fork of MeeGo, and thus is a real descendant of MeeGo. Hence it's rpm-based.
