Good news, truly. Now I don't have to put forward €€€ to new iPhone... :P

Still, reading couple of new sources, I get the impression that this is more like temporary deal, meaning that bigger and longer lasting package is still under negotiations. It's not a bad thing, but it explains some vagueness related to Tabled debacle (to deliver or not to deliver). My guess is that there will be some alteration to business model (which has already occurred to some degree) and I believe it's likely that there won't be Jolla branded devices launched any more as it wouldn't be wise to compete with your own customers, especially when you lack resources to compete adequately on HW.

Certainly it looks somewhat like another endeavor with certain car manufacturer in our beloved neighbor country Sweden... wish them best of luck too.

[offtopic]Seems that my closets will be more or less full of similar products... first N900. then N9 (which ny wife uses atm), Jolla and if Jolla Tablets will be delivered, they will most likely be only small production run. Just remembered that I have one of the early Bitboys GPU:s also, they also were to be a big thing in PC GPU market at the time, but they also lost a manufacturing partner at the crucial moment... as someone who ordered the tablet....

....i'm delighted that sailfish lives to see another day.

before anything else, i hope sailfish continues to evolve (qt5.6, mer, middleware, etc), if we get to that and they have some spare cash i'll be happy to receive my tablet.
