First thing to do is open powermenu configurator and change powerkey longpress when display is on. Uncheck Sailfish Powermenu and check Powermenu2. Then longpress powerkey and voila!
Thank you, that is helpful. Too bad there's only "power-key-menu" which I'd assume to mean the SFOS menu.

I'm not using that currently, but who knows if I learn to use it if I get some useful stuff in there with your app, so good to know.
and what is your system language? probably its translators issue.
but anyway, power-key-menu is action for default sailfish powermenu, for powermenu2 you neeed to select event3, also scroll down, and for Action 3 select Powermenu2 also.
System language is Finnish, but it was not really about that but having to select powermenu2 for Action 3, so it is shown in place of "event3" in the list of options. Great, now I can start experimenting with it. Thanks for your help, I might help with the translation in exchange when I've figured out all the parts (unless somebody else does it first).
I'm trying sailfishOS on my OnePlus X and it works pretty good (except camera).
But your shortcut for enabling / disabling torch doesn't work.
However, I have an application developped by kimmoli which works well : https://build.merproject.org/package...nyx-flashlight
Any way to improve your toogle to make it work with 1+X?
